The foundation interest in working with these forgotten territories, is to contribute to the construction of a society with more justice and equality, guiding ways that help on the overcoming of barriers to achieving better living conditions for the inhabitants of these territories.

The municipalitie has been scene of the armed conflict that the country faces, generating many violence acts that impingned in the displacement and immigration of many sucrense people to the main cities because the lack of opportunities. With the arrival of the public forces, the security and valoration of the territory, its starting to promote the return of many people with desires of incresing the municipal devolopment.

The following problematics are the main:

• Lack of access to potable water


• Poor sources of employment


• There is no tecnical agricultural assistance


• Bad road conditions


• There are no social programs

• Cucaita in Boyaca´s department

Cucaita municipalitie is located in Boyaca´s department, historically it was part of the Muisca´s indigenous culture, the base of their economy is focused on the farming of products like potatoe, corn and maize. It´s a municipalitie with own colonial characteristics that have lost their historical value as a result of the field-city migration and the lack of support to the internal productivity.

The territory main problems are:

• Lack of employment and the increase of informality.


• Rural education does not count with an universitary focus or with the necesary infrastructure for an integral devolopment.


• Vulnerability in the productivity for the lack of adaptability of the climate change.

• Deficiency in the quality of the water.


• There are no strategies focused in the rescue of ancestral values like tourist atracttions.

  Yaquivá´s indigenous safeguard (Inza-Cauca´s municipalitie)

  
  

Traditionally it has been a collective property of the Nasa Pez indigenous comunity that is located between the Cauca and Huila departments. This territory, by having an own normative system, comprises an autonomous social organization, they are located in Tierradentro´s ecological reserve that is declared as humankind heritage by the UNESCO because of the importance of this place for the Precolumbian culture. The Paeces indegenous people that live in the safeguard had been resisting the internal armed conflict and the disappearence of Colombia's indigenous traditions, despite of being one of the most important minorities; the corn and the coffee are the backbone of the agricultural economy that they practice.

The territory main difficulties are:

• Eroded soils.


• Lack and poor conditions of educational infrastructure.


• Polution of the territory, bad management of the natural resources, deforestation is a common problem.


• There is no potable water for the people in general.


• Bad road conditions that affect producers and the communities.

The work that the foundation seeks to develop is based on the construction of development proposals with the community and the territorial actors who could provide important ítems in the territorial diagnoses that allow our group of professionals to guide the identification of the best solution options, that are relevant, appropriate and contextualized.
