To implement this project in Cuba I need to raise money to meet the cost of airline tickets. Diego Villegas and I will travel to Camagüey for the project. Other expenses such as room and board will be paid by me, but being aware of the moment in which we live I prefer to ask a lower amount than my project needs in order to achieve my goal and thus carry it out. Anyway remember that once the target is exceeded and if the project is still in collection period you can continue collaborating. The total proceeds will be fully used for this project.

My budget would be:

Flights Madrid-Havana-Camagüey for two people: 2000 euros

Travel medical insurance: 50 euros

Travel visas for two people: 50 euros

Total of my goal: 2100 euros

The importance of doing this project directly in Cuba is because of the value of research the root of all Cubans genres that are origin or influence in our music or Spanish dance. To have the opportunity to enrich directly the project with the Cuban culture from its source and to have the cooperation of the Ballet Folklorico and his orchestra is all that my project needs to create an authentic and true piece, showing the richness of this mutual influence among the Cuban and Spanish people. In turn, to have the presence of Diego Villegas in the creative process of the work in Cuba is paramount because, thanks to him, I can have a clear and direct communication with Cuban musicians to create a musical composition that collects the essence of both genres.
